Changelog

New features, improvements and fixes, newest first.

  1. v1.3.0

Charts that show all of the data

Charts were quietly working from a sample of the rows behind them. Now they draw everything, and dates behave however they arrive.

    Improvements4

    • Charts draw the whole result rather than the first fifty rows.
    • Charts run to the end of the date range in the data instead of stopping short.
    • A chart or table keeps the same shape however it is loaded, because every query path now applies the same row limit.
    • Saved dashboard sparklines come back showing the most recent periods rather than the oldest.

    Fixes1

    • Dates that arrive in mixed formats sort, filter and calculate correctly, even when the source is not ISO.

    Patches1

    • New insight cards no longer offer a data table block. Cards already saved with one keep it.
  2. v1.2.0

A home page, a place for failed uploads, and a tidier workspace

The largest release so far. Mira opens on the chat input with your recent work beneath it, settings are grouped by who they belong to, and files that fail on the way in are held somewhere you can deal with them.

    Improvements9

    • Mira opens on a home surface that puts the chat input first and lists recent sessions underneath, so you can start something new or pick up where you left off in one place.
    • Several reports can stay open in one session, with tabs for reports, archived runs and the dashboard.
    • Organisation settings now have a quarantine area where owners and admins review uploads that failed, download the original file, resubmit a corrected one, or delete it with a reason.
    • Admins are told when someone tries to upload a spreadsheet Mira cannot read, and can turn those notifications off.
    • Settings are grouped into Personal, Organization and Department, with a profile page of its own.
    • The sidebar keeps every session in one list, moves the organisation menu into the header, and remembers the width you set.
    • Style, Export and Update are labelled buttons in the workspace header, and the Library is the one place to browse your work.
    • A new neutral palette, with clearer depth in both light and dark.
    • Earlier web searches stay in context, so follow-up questions do not contradict the answer above them.

    Fixes4

    • Members can no longer reach restricted organisation settings by changing the capitalisation of a URL.
    • Chat text and web search footnotes render in the right place and the right style.
    • Charts open in the order they were written on first display.
    • Chat titles describe the topic instead of repeating the prompt.
  3. v1.1.0

Report versions you can tell apart

Asking Mira to change a report used to leave two things that looked alike. Now it is clear which one is current, and stopping a reply no longer loses it.

    Improvements1

    • When Mira edits a report it produces a clearly marked new version, so the latest one is obvious.

    Fixes2

    • Stopping a reply part way through keeps the exchange in the session instead of discarding it.
    • Chat titles are generated once rather than over and over.
  4. v1.0.1

    Clearer validation when saving

A small release: what is missing is now named before a save is refused.

    Fixes1

    • Saving with a required column left empty says which one, rather than failing quietly.
  5. v1.0.0

    Initial release

The first public release of Mira.

    Improvements5

    • Ask questions of your data in plain English.
    • Answers come back as charts and written explanations, not only numbers.
    • Connect more than one system and ask across all of them at once.
    • Build dashboards out of the answers worth keeping.
    • Read-only connections, with what each person can see set by their role.
